Large sardine resource discovered off south-eastern Australia: Potential risks, challenges and benefits of establishing a new fishery
This paper documents the discovery of a large sardine (Sardinops sagax) resource off South-eastern Australia. We use information from three ichthyoplankton surveys for jack mackerel to apply the Daily Egg Production Method (DEPM) to the South-eastern sardine stock.
