  • The New Political Economy of US Trade

    Recent shifts in US trade policy mark a decisive break from decades of liberalization, driven by expanded executive authority and the aggressive use of tariffs. These policies aim to rebalance trade, revive domestic manufacturing, and increase bargaining leverage, but they impose significant costs on consumers and create uncertainty for businesses and investors.
