  • Quantitative Aspekte der Modalpartikelverwendung

    Open Access•Peter Paschke•ARTICLE•Linguistik Online•2026

The topic of this article are quantitative aspects of the use of modal particles (MPs) in corpora of spoken German, i. e. the token rates of individual or all MPs and the ranking of their frequency. Evidently, man cannot refer to the speaker role, while in the same context the Italian si is well suitable. Starti…

    Peter Paschke•ARTICLE•Deutsche Sprache•2018

The paper examines how in German the sentence mode of an original utterance can be reported in indirect speech in the subjunctive. It is demonstrated that two prototypes of indirect speech are to be distinguished: in syntactically independent, or only weakly subordinate, ‘free indirect speech’ with verb-second clause, the sentence mode of the original utterance can be cited in the same form; in contrast, in ‘dependent indirect speech’, the illocu…

  • Die moderne politische Repräsentation

Giuseppe Duso, Peter Paschke•BOOK•Moderne Politische Repräsentation…•2006

Si individua nel concetto di rappresentanza la chiave della nascita del modo moderno di intendere il potere e la sua legittimità Il lavoro analizza la genesi, la logica e le aporie del concetto riferendosi ai testi dei classici da Althusius a Hegel. L'attraversamento della riflessione novecentesca, da Weber a Schmitt a Voeglein, permette di mettere in crisi la funzione legittimante del concetto, aprendoci problematicamente al pensiero del present…
