Archaeology of Finland’s Only “Permanent Glacier”
The first cryosphere archaeological survey in Finland underlines the exponential melt rates seen around the Earth. Our research shows that the formerly perennial Ritničohkka snowfield in Sápmi has completely vanished over the past two decades.
