Bu çalışmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarına öz belirleme kuramı temelli psikolojik ihtiyaçlardan “yeterlik” ile ilgili örnek yaşantılar sunmak ve öğretmen adaylarının kendileriyle ilgili algıladıkları yeterlik durumunu olumlu yönde geliştirmektir.
