Trauma informed practices of a sober living home for women with addiction and victimization histories
The purpose of the study was to examine the correlates of perceptions of trauma-informed practices at a sober living home (SLH) among women with histories of addiction and victimization. Fifty-two women currently seeking or who had recently sought services at the SLH competed in a survey. Higher rates of financial worries and housing instability predicted lower perceptions that the SLH was trauma-informed in several domains. Being white compared …
