Exposure to prolonged political violence, self-efficacy, and posttraumatic stress symptoms among Palestinian adults
The results provide evidence that for adults exposed to political violence low self-efficacy is linked to poor mental health outcomes. Therefore, enhancing self-efficacy among adults in conflict-affected zones may be a beneficial internal resource for coping with traumatic stress following EPV.
