The article explores the practices of Ukrainian and Moldovan transnational family members in pooling resources within the Hybrid Transnational Social Protection (HTSP) nexus structured into state, universal, market-based and community-sourced protections. In this article, I use the analytical framework of 'displaying family relationships' to explore the transnational grandparenting practices of Romanian families.
