We present the results of an archaeological and anthropological study of a Late Bronze Age burial at Poperechnaya-1 in the Aley steppe, Ob Plateau, south of Western Siberia. Wide-range search for parallels in the funerary rite (extended position on the left side, shallow grave pit) and burial goods (curved-backed bronze knife with ring pommel, remains of pot and meat food) demonstrates that most parallels are with Karasuk burials in the Minusinsk…

We describe the skeletal remains of a male, aged 25–30, from the Neolithic burial 33 at Krokhalevka-5 in the Upper Ob basin, 21 km northwest of Novosibirsk, dating to the mid-5th millennium BC. In 2019, a group of previously unknown mounds with “mustaches” was discovered in the north of the Kulunda steppe. They are quite unusual: all of the mounds are ground and located on floodplains. Cremation Burials at Ust-Zelinda-2, the Northern Angara Region
We describe artifacts found in cremation burials at Ust-Zelinda-2 in the Northern Angara region. Such sites have been traditionally attributed to the Early Iron Age, specifically to the second stage of the Tsepan culture (8th–2nd centuries BC), first described by V.I. Privalikhin. The study describes new materials from Neolithic burial 33 at Krokhalevka-5 in the Kudryashovsky archaeological micro-region (Novosibirsk Region). The burial was single and had been disturbed. We describe the skeletal remains of a male, aged 25–30, from the Neolithic burial 33 at Krokhalevka-5 in the Upper Ob basin, 21 km northwest of Novosibirsk, dating to the mid-5th millennium BC. In 2019, a group of previously unknown mounds with “mustaches” was discovered in the north of the Kulunda steppe. They are quite unusual: all of the mounds are ground and located on floodplains. We describe artifacts found in cremation burials at Ust-Zelinda-2 in the Northern Angara region. Such sites have been traditionally attributed to the Early Iron Age, specifically to the second stage of the Tsepan culture (8th–2nd centuries BC), first described by V.I. Privalikhin.
