Die bilingue Opfertafel der Tasuchion aus dem Fayum (Berlin, Ägyptisches Museum ÄM 11631)
Publication of an early Roman offering table for the woman Tasouchion. The table probably came from the Fayum and was inscribed with a rare bilingual Hieroglyphic-Greek inscription. The Hieroglyphic text contains a ritual, while the Greek text offers a Greek version of the well-known and wide-spread Latin epitaph sit tibi terra levis . Both texts are analyzed in the context of ancient funerary practices

O artigo narra a pesquisa de campo realizada durante o desenvolvimento de um projeto que investiga a história da bacia hidrográfica do alto rio Jacuí, no norte do Rio Grande do Sul. Analysis of the drawings on a 5th century AD papyrus containing a list of multiplications. On the recto, an eagle with XI monogram emblematises the Christian notion of resurrection and ascent of the soul. On the verso, what was earlier considered just an ornament is in fact a geographical map of an Eastern Desert wadi and is fashioned following patterns of older Egyptian cartography

In the transition from carbon to iron-gall inks, the two documents from the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection in Berlin with shelfmarks P 13500 and P 13501 discussed in this work present an important case.
