The Impact of Veteran Status on Life-Space Mobility among Older Black and White Men in the Deep South
Veterans had significantly higher baseline life-space mobility. There were significantly greater declines in life-space trajectories for White non-veterans in comparison to other race-veteran subgroups. Black veterans and non-veterans did not have significantly different trajectories

Qualitative researchers who explore the individual's experience of health, illness, death, and dying often experience emotional stress in their work. In this article, we describe the emotional stress we experienced while coding semistructured, after-death interviews conducted with 38 next of kin of deceased veterans. Identifying and Responding to Ethical and Methodological Issues in After-Death Interviews with Next-of-Kin

The purpose of this study was to explore changes in psychological distress associated with behavioral treatment and drug treatment for urge incontinence in community-dwelling older women. Participants were 197 ambulatory, nondemented women (aged 55 years or older) with persistent urge urinary incontinence.
