Interpretation is a key aspect to any qualitative research process. Inherent in analysis, researchers must ask what informs interpretations and whose interpretations are accepted as reality. The primary goal of this paper is to introduce ethical practices engaged by the Feminist Research Collective (FRC) so that we might push into the theoretical dialogue on feminist ethics. Digital Migrating and Storyworlding with Women We Love
This contemporary feminist ethnography draws on in-depth ethnographically-anchored lifestory interviews with loved ones and uses digital media (such as ArcGIS) to expand the ethnographic collection around the globe. Members of the FRC conceived of the WomenWeLove Project as an opportunity for the lesser-told stories of six ordinary women from different places to take center stage. This paper explores undocumented adolescent Latina becomings that move beyond Western, white dominant cultural values and recognize egalitarian entanglements of difference. This research project focuses on embodied and engendered liminal experiences of Latina adolescents through ontologies of becoming as a space to generatively and critically expand notions of resistance and activism.
