We aimed to compare the effects of the Dynamic Visual Noise (DVN) on visual memory when presented at different times in an item recognition task either during information encoding, retention interval or throughout the trial. Este estudo avaliou o impacto psicológico de um grupo educativo de cirurgia cardíaca em pacientes de um hospital universitário. Participaram 73 sujeitos, dos quais 62% eram homens. A média de idade foi 52 anos, desvio-padrão foi 16. Os pacientes foram submetidos a uma sessão multidisciplinar com exposição dialogada sobre cardiopatias, procedimento cirúrgico e sintomas psicológicos.
