Educational Hegemony, Traumatic Stress, and African American and Latino American Students
The authors use traumatic stress theory to develop an ecosystemic understanding of hegemony and systemic barriers to educational success for culturally diverse students. The Use of the Racial/Cultural Identity Development Model to Understand a Vietnamese American
This article presents the sociohistorical experiences of Vietnamese Americans that contextualize the therapeutic relationship. Using a case study approach, researchers illustrate the use of the Racial/Cultural Identity Development model (D. W. Sue & D.
