Measuring gender differences in elite behavior through surveys versus observation
Surveys constitute the main method of studying elite behavior. A concern with survey data is that they reflect what elites report they do – not what elites actually do. Alternative, process-oriented approaches such as direct observation can help to address this concern. We provide an overview of the social work response to COVID-19 in Albania. After introducing the country situation, we discuss social workers’ engagement in governmental and non-governmental agencies and provide suggestions for advancing the social work profession.
