This article provides a comparative analysis of digital interventions implemented in Taiwan and the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic to examine how national contexts shaped the rollout and reception of these technologies. Crisis helplines provide important support for vulnerable individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic, which may also impact the helplines. We explored the challenges that the pandemic brought to Taiwan's national suicide prevention hotline and the hotline's responses. Understanding Technology in Birth Care from the Experiences of Taiwanese Obstetricians
Childbirth in Taiwan is characterized by the use of intensive technological and surgical interventions.
