Development and Validation of the Resilience Scale for Immigrant Youth
Purpose This study aimed to develop and validate a measurement scale for assessing resilience among immigrant youth. Methods We adopted a mixed-method approach, conducting interviews with 26 immigrant youth and testing these items in a quantitative study of 215 immigrant youth from Windsor-Essex, Canada. This paper examines the impact of a workweek reduction policy on the labor productivity of manufacturing plants in Korea. Taking advantage of the stepwise introduction of the standard 40‐hour workweek in Korea, we apply a difference‐in‐differences framework to individual‐level cross‐sectional and plant‐level longitudinal data to examine the impact of the policy on working hours and output, respectively. This reflective and conceptual article, which is based on a literature review and the subjective experiences of the authors, discusses the simultaneous collaborative delivery of 3 sections of an introductory undergraduate-level course in social work. Acculturative Stress and Mental Health Among Korean Adolescents in the United States
This study investigated Korean-American adolescents’ stress related to their acculturation experiences and mental health. A total of 260 Korean-American adolescents from immigrant families (ages 12–18 years) participated in the study.
