From a theoretical perspective which views constitutions and constitutional arrangements as forms of political technology, this article argues that Nigerian federalism is based on a theory of the rights of ethnic groups to autonomous coexistence within the nation. The Political Economy of Sweden's Development Policy in Africa
This article argues that the basic model of Sweden's development policy in Africa represents an attempt to internationalize her own developmental experience. The philosophical underpinnings of that experience are found to be the ideas of integration, solidarity and equality. How should one relate culture to the modernization process in Africa? This paper will attempt to indicate how one might go about answering this important question, probably raising more questions in the process than providing substantive answers.
