Work Design Variation and Outcomes in Call Centers
This study examines reasons for variation in work design (defined by job discretion and performance monitoring) and how work design affects organizational outcomes. The authors develop a logics of action framework to conceptualize the impact of globalization on employment relations (ER) and to predict the trajectory of ER.
