The Puerto Rican/Latino community in Hartford, Connecticut suffers disproportionately from a wide variety of nutrition-related problems, including food insecurity, insufficient consumption of fruits and vegetables, high rates of obesity, diabetes and other chronic diseases, and low breastfeeding rates.
