A call for a more assertive interdisciplinarity
I urge the community of scholars of interdisciplinarity to be more assertive about the existence and value of interdisciplinary methodology. This will improve the quality of interdisciplinary teaching and research, while enhancing our reputation. A Bibliometric Analysis of the Field of Information Studies
We perform a domain analysis of two recent volumes, The Encyclopedia of Interdisciplinarity and Transdisciplinarity, and The Handbook of Interdisciplinary Teaching and Administration. These volumes provide a useful snapshot of a field that is global in scope and draws on scholars with backgrounds in numerous academic fields. Interdisciplinarity and the teaching of public policy
De Leon and Steelman (2001) addressed three deficiencies in public policy programs. This paper focuses on the first of these, arguing that public policy students can and should be exposed to a comprehensive classification of types of ethical analysis.
