This study explored class absenteeism among first-year college students. I analyzed nine variables to assess possible effects on missing class. The results suggested that disliking a class was associated positively with absenteeism from that class. Mormon Polygyny in the Nineteenth Century
Scholars have tended to explain the practice of polygyny in terms of three explanations: a sexual explanation, a demographic explanation, and an economic explanation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the practice of Mormon polygyny from a theoretical perspective.
