Perceived burden, psychological distress, and quality of life among family caregivers of individuals with schizophrenia
This study assessed the burden, psychological distress and quality of life (QoL) of Malaysian family caregivers of outpatients with schizophrenia. Of the caregivers (N = 200), 49.5% reported a high burden of care. Higher psychological distress and burden correlated with lower QoL.
