A determinação social da saúde em assentamentos rurais
O objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar os aspectos do trabalho e da saúde de camponeses criadores de bovinos, caprinos e ovinos com base na determinação social da saúde. A pesquisa foi realizada em cinco assentamentos rurais no estado de Pernambuco, utilizando-se a entrevista estruturada e técnicas do diagnóstico rural participativo. This research traces activism over the last 30 years against sexual and gender-based violence with a focus on survivors’ and advocates’ narratives in Egypt. We argue that several focusing events in Egypt and the support of transnational advocacy networks over the last decades have galvanised the efforts of activists and citizens of good will to mobilise around these issues. This article analyzes how, for the decade before the Arab Spring, the Egyptian Center for Women's Rights (ECWR) promoted women's issues and sustained its campaign against widespread sexual harassment in Egypt.
