This paper describes the implementation and evaluation of RADAR (Response Awareness, De-Escalation, and Referral), a hybrid CIT/co-response program for people with behavioral health issues (PBHI). RADAR emphasized information sharing between police, PBHI, and behavioral health professionals and targeted outreach to PBHI by a police officer and clinician working in partnership.
