Socio-cultural context and women's experiences of abortion
This study explored the experience and emotional aftermath of induced abortion in a crosscultural setting, comparing native Israeli women and recent immigrants from the former Soviet Union. For the first time since the mid‐1970s, this study explored sociodemographic correlates of abortion attitudes among Israeli Jews and compared them with those reported by the General Social Survey in the United States.
