  • Independent and combined associations of VOCs exposure and MetS in the NHANES 2017–2020

Open Access•Xin Gao, Shanshan Xu et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2025

Introduction: As a worldwide public health concern, Metabolic syndrome (MetS) seriously endangers human health and life safety. It`s reported that there is a strong association between chemical pollutants and the development of MetS in recent years. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs), the primary emission pollutant in atmospheric pollutants, were closely associated with development of chronic diseases. However, the association between VOCs exposur…

  • The Effects of Blended Learning Environment on College Students' Learning Effectiveness

    Open Access•Na Lv, Zhigang Li•ARTICLE•SAGE Open•2024•Referências: 46

With the rise of "Internet + Education," blended learning has become a new trend in higher education. This study aims to explore how behavioral willingness and self-efficacy affect the learning effect of college students in this new learning mode. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) was used to construct a theoretical model, and data on the blended learning effectiveness of 167 college students from a university in Sou…

  • Gamified Entrepreneurship Courses Motivate College Students' Satisfaction

Since the Gamified Entrepreneurship Courses have been applied to college students' entrepreneurship courses, it has provided interactive and immersive course experiences to help improve the effect of course teaching. From the perspective of college students, Gamified Entrepreneurship Courses are a novel teaching method, and the satisfaction of college students with Gamified Entrepreneurship Courses will determine the future development of this co…

  • Study of the Kinetics and Equilibrium of the Adsorption of Oils onto Hydrophobic Jute Fiber Modified via the Sol-Gel Method

Open Access•Na Lv, Xiaoli Wang et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2018

A new kind of hydrophobic and oil sorbent based on jute fiber was successfully prepared by the integration of silica onto a fiber surface via the sol-gel method and subsequent hydrophobic modification with octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS). Compared with the hydrophilic raw fiber, the modified fiber had a water contact angle (CA) of 136.2°, suggesting that the material has good hydrophobicity. Furthermore, the ability of oil in the oil/water system …

  • Age-related differences of different components of working memory

Xiao Ding, Na Lv et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2017
