Paleolithic occupations of the Göllü Dağ, Central Anatolia, Turkey
Systematic archaeological surface reconnaissance of the Göllü Dağ volcanic complex from 2007 to 2012 documented more than 230 findspots with Paleolithic artifacts, ranging from isolated finds to extensive and dense scatters of artifacts. Most of the activities represented relate to exploitation of the rich obsidian resources in the region. Paleolithic artifacts are attributed mainly to the Middle Paleolithic based on the presence of Levallois tec…
Scale in tephrostratigraphic correlation
Multi-scale tribological analysis of the technique of manufacture of an obsidian bracelet from Aşıklı Höyük (Aceramic Neolithic, Central Anatolia)
New investigations of the Göllüdağ obsidian lava flows system
Building a tephrostratigraphic framework for the Paleolithic of Central Anatolia, Turkey
Kaletepe Deresi 3 (Turkey)
Installations paléolithiques en Cappadoce. État des connaissances de cinq années de recherche sur les premiers peuplements humains en Anatolie centrale
This paper proposes a synthesis of the excavations of "Kaletepe Deresi 3", an open air Palaeolithic site located in the volvanic region of Central Anatolia (Turkey). The site is located a few kilometers on the eastern slopes of the Göllü Dağ volcano in the proximity of the Kömürcü obsidian intrusions wh…
