Who pays more? Exploring cost disparities in medication abortion access across socio-demographic groups in Ghana
MA cost in Ghana is largely based on providers' discretion and at the facility's management level. Additionally, the cost differs by women's socio-demographic attributes. To reduce the disparities in MA costs, developing guidelines to address the health system challenges regarding MA provision and access is important. Educational programs on MA access, provision and legal framework could also reduce abortion-related stigma and cost variations

We assess the long‐run growth effects of rising longevity and increasing the retirement age when growth is driven by purposeful research and development. In contrast to economies in which growth depends on learning‐by‐doing spillovers, raising the retirement age fosters economic growth. Electronic Benefit Transfer and Food Expenditure Cycles
Previous research shows that the way transfer income is disbursed can affect what households purchase with that income. In this paper, I provide evidence that disbursement technique can affect the timing of purchases as well. I examine the U.S. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which switched on a state‐by‐state basis from cash‐similar food coupons to Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT)—a secure debit card—from 1993 to 2004.
