The Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) is responsible for conserving the Antarctic marine ecosystem, where conservation also includes the management of commercial fisheries. The largest fishery (by weight) in Antarctic waters is that for Antarctic krill, a species vital to biogeochemical cycles and carbon sequestration, and a critical dietary item for a broad guild of marine predators. Antenatal depression is a public health concern, impacting maternal and fetal health. We aimed to assess the prevalence and factors associated with antenatal depression in Baghdad, Iraq. In total, 850 pregnant women attending outpatient clinics at the Al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital and three private clinics were screened for depression using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale. Abyei was one of the most contested areas of Sudan's Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) of January 2005. Drawing on direct experience, the article examines the agreement and the experience of trying to support its implementation.
