In this study, we test the potential of a simulation for encouraging situated, peer-based encounters for news literacy learning. High school students responded to news literacy awareness and news appreciation measures before, immediately after, and two weeks after taking part in a breaking news simulation. Cigarette prices and community price comparisons in US military retail stores
There was no significant difference between prices for cigarettes on military installations and the lowest average community comparison, and in some locations, the prices violated Department of Defense (DoD) policy. A Role for Identification in the Gradual Decline in the Pleasantness of Flavors With Age
These findings demonstrate a clear role for identification in the decline in flavor pleasantness with age. These findings thus provide clear evidence for a cognitive and perceptual element to these hedonic processes.
