This article illuminates how the lived experiences of Black men in comparison to experiences of dogs in society highlight antiblackness as the prevailing sentiment in America. This juxtaposition illuminates the psychological project embedded within antiblackness—to dehumanize Black people by elevating dogs alongside other racial groups that have been deemed as human. Indonesian youth looking towards the future
Selected survey data on future aspirations and expectations from 3565 young Indonesians are presented in this study. Muslim-majority Indonesia is an Asian economic success story. The economy has seen solid growth, leading to an expansion of the private sector. The upward credentialling of the labour market and the rapid growth of the middle class have resulted. The power of letters and the female body
Lysistrata
There is little metrical variety in Lysistrata, but different types of rhythm are used structurally, as in Clouds, to mark off the main divisions of the action. Again as in Clouds., the play falls into three sections. A point of difference, however, is that the dominant metres of Lysistrata, trochaic and cretic, are characteristically, even boisterously, comic. An exceptional feature of the play is the antagonism of the two semichoruses.
