In 1916 Lord Curzon inherited his ancestral home, Kedleston Hall, and set about planning its renovation. Part of this work was the creation of a new museum in which to display his collection of ‘Eastern’ objects, amassed through his viceregal career and his extensive travels as a young man. The Pimlico District Heating Undertaking ( PDHU ) was London's first attempt at neighborhood heating. Built in the 1950s to supply landmark social housing project Churchill Gardens, the district heating system sent heat from nearby Battersea power station into the radiators of the housing estate. One hundred and twenty one participants reported sexual orientation, body mass index, body shape concerns, eating motives and eating styles. Measures of body dissatisfaction were greater in heterosexual women and homosexual men (ps <.05), while heterosexual women had smaller (ps <.001) ideal body shapes.
