전 세계 기후변화 대응을 주도하고 있는 EU에서 프랑스는 다른 주요 회원국에 비해서 1인당 온실가스 배출이 적다. 이는 프랑스 정부의 적극적인 기후변화 대응에 힘입은 것이다.
