The Role of Inselbergs in the Geomorphology of Southern Uganda
THE INSELBERGS of southern Uganda are situated in an area whose surface has experienced uplift and warping in the recent past. These surface deformations are the result of tectonic influences which, since the end of the Oligocene, have produced the Western Rift Valley.
