The Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study
The ABCD study is recruiting and following the brain development and health of over 10,000 9-10 year olds through adolescence. The imaging component of the study was developed by the ABCD Data Analysis and Informatics Center (DAIC) and the ABCD Imaging Acquisition Workgroup. An analysis of news stories from three types of news media on both local and statewide levels found that the local print newspaper included a greater diversity of sources and was more likely to quote unaffiliated citizens in the debate, for example, over the future of a nuclear power plant
