Differences Between the Child and the Aphasic
Comparison between children and aphasics shows more differences than similarities in their language and behaviour. Just as atrophy in plants or animals may bear false resemblances to normal stages of growth, so the pathology of aphasia is not to be understood in the same terms as child development
