Open Access•George Parker, Suzanne Miller et al.•ARTICLE•Culture Health & Sexuality•2025

Sexual and reproductive healthcare (SRH) is recognised internationally as a human right, but inequities exist in both access to, and outcomes from, SRH in some populations. LGBTQIA+ people accessing abortion services can have harmful experiences related to embedded norms that construct abortion care as being for cisgender heterosexual women. In Aotearoa New Zealand, legislative reform has decriminalised and liberalised abortion care to improve ac…

  • Let All Identities Bloom, Just Let Them Bloom

    Open Access•George Parker, Suzanne Miller et al.•ARTICLE•Qualitative Health Research•2025•Citada por: 1•Referências: 43

    Open Access•Tian P S Oei, Julie Hansen et al.•ARTICLE•Australian Psychologist•1993•Citada por: 1•Referências: 2

This paper reviews recent studies of rational emotive therapy (RET) to determine whether there is empirical evidence to support the assertion that the reasons for therapeutic gains in RET are via changing irrational to rational beliefs. Before such issues can be examined, problems with the definition and measurement of irrational beliefs are first discussed and the evidence pertaining to the validity of current measures is addressed. Treatment ou…
