A preliminary report on 2022 excavation at Fanjiagouwan locality of Salawusu site in Inner Mongolia
萨拉乌苏遗址是中国最早发现的旧石器时代遗址之一,其中的范家沟湾地点自1956年被发现以来一直是我国学者研究萨拉乌苏遗址石器技术的主要材料来源。2022年,内蒙古自治区文物考古研究院、中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所等单位对该地点进行了新的考古发掘,揭露面积24 m2 ,地层深度5.2 m,确认了两个包含石制品的文化层。其中第1文化层是本次发掘的主文化层,共出土石制品260件,包括石核9件、石片170件、石器29件、断块16件及残片36件,同时伴出大量动物化石和较多的木炭、烧骨等。石制品原料以优质石英岩为主,燧石次之,原料兼具河流砾石与山体基岩两种性质。石制品整体尺寸极为细小,呈现出显著的微型化特征。石核均为石片石核,部分石片台面腹缘可见唇棱,暗示软锤技术的应用,石器以刮削器为主体,另有锯齿刃刮削器、锯齿刃器、鸟喙状器、尖状器和使用石片等,皆采用片状毛坯。综合光释光与碳十四测年结果,范家沟湾地点文化层的年代约为距今5万—6万年,处于旧石器时代中期向晚期过渡的关键阶段。范家沟湾遗址2022…
