Interaction of scope and cliticization domain
The paper deals with how syntax of coordination interacts with the second position constraint. It is claimed, on the basis of Hittite data, that the cliticization scope of the enclitic coordinator can be limited to its complement with the exclusion of its (inner) specifier. Vocatives and Direct Addresses in Hittite
This paper reviews the evidence from Hittite on morphological and syntactic marking of direct addresses. It is shown that the standard description of Hoffner, and Melchert in 2008 needs a revision. Careful examination of a considerable body of texts shows a mismatch between morphological (vocative case) and syntactic (separate syntactic unit) marking of direct addresses to gods and men. Deriving preverbal position in a verb-final language
The paper presents an analysis of clause structure in Hittite, a coherently head-final language with SOV word order and an elaborated preverbal position hosting various functional elements of the clause. We argue that the best approach to capturing these phenomena is to assume a universally right-branching structure coupled with phrasal movement driven by selectional feature checking under adjacency of relevant heads

The paper reevaluates the evidence for dative case marking of the direct object of the infinitive in Hittite against the Indo-European and cross-linguistic background.
