Despite growing investment in restoration, weak accountability and poor biodiversity monitoring mean many projects fail to achieve ecological recovery. The Global Biodiversity Standard (TGBS) offers a practical way to ensure that restoration finance delivers measurable gains for nature. By providing independent, site-based verification and engaging local experts, TGBS builds trust, transparency and equity in restoration practice. Its adoption cou…

Open Access•Gina Maskell, Roopam Shukla et al.•ARTICLE•Conservation Ecology•2025

Adaptation to climate change is often conceptualized as a dichotomy, with responses being either planned (formal and structured) or autonomous (organic and self-organized, often known as “everyday adaptation”). • Notes of an Early Fifteenth-Century Research Assistant, and the Emergence of the 267 Articles against Wyclif

    A Hudson•ARTICLE•The English Historical Review•2003

In March 1411 Oxford University sent to archbishop Arundel a list of 267 extracts from the writings of John Wyclif which they regarded as heretical. In Oxford Magdalen College MS lat.99 appears some preliminary work towards the compilation of that list, work which throws light on the way in which the material was assembled. The paper considers this, and other, evidence for the collection in Oxford of the erroneous statements from Wyclif's works. …
