Test-Retest Reliability of the Stanton Survey Honesty Test
The test-retest reliability of the Stanton Survey honesty test was examined. Data were collected in two rounds of testing of 51 and 35 college students with at least 6 mo. work experience. Each student took the Stanton Survey on 2 occasions separated by 6 wk. The over-all test-retest reliability of the combined groups was .90. This high reliability is also reflected in subscore correlations of .89 and .86, indicating that test takers respond very…
Effect of Water Deprivation and Injections of Hypertonic Saline on the Activity of Rats
Activity was measured in 5 independent groups of 10 rats assigned to each of 4 conditions, water deprived in wheels and stationary cages, saline injected in wheels and stationary cages. A significant increase in wheel running but not in stationary cage activity followed deprivation. Effect of Varied Magnitude of Reward on Runway Performance
Runway speed was investigated in 3 groups of water-deprived rats ( n = 14 per group) given one trial per day for 100 days. No statistically significant differences were found between Ss continuously receiving 0.8 cc (large reward group) or 0.1 cc (small reward group) of water and those given 0.8 cc and 0.1 cc (varied reward group) semirandomly.
