Este artigo coletivo relata a experiência da "Oficina MP3", realizada em sala de aula na disciplina de Sociologia da Música (graduação) no primeiro semestre de 2018. A oficina propôs que cada aluno apresentasse à turma uma música de sua escolha. A diversidade das seleções musicais, evidenciada pelos relatos dos alunos, foi organizada em duas linhas temáticas recorrentes na sociologia da música: música e representação, e música e significado

This essay is a reflection on images, memory and movement in Rio de Janeiro’s railway space, inspired by the itinerant play based on Homer’s Odyssey In_Transit: Urban Odysseys, by the theater company Cia Marginal, staged in suburban trains leaving from Rio de Janeiro’s Central do Brasil station.
