Using qualitative data, this article unleashes the narratives of teachers ( n = 20), engaged in the universities and colleges of Kashmir, about synchronous online teaching. The article focuses on the subaltern system of micro appropriations or Jugaads used by young Kashmiris to survive within precarious situations inflicted due to armed conflict.
