Gender Inequality and the Division of Household Labor in the United States and Sweden
In this paper, we offer a socialist-feminist framework for exploring the persistence of gender inequality in the disvision of household labor. The inconsistent results generated by the relative resources, gender-role ideology, and time-availability hypotheses speak to the need to examine the structural bases for power relations based on gender. Physical victimization and bulimic-like symptoms
An increasingly popular clinical impression is that physical victimization plays an important role in the etiology of bulimia. There are few data based studies, however, which have tested this belief. Therefore, data were collected to determine if those who have been victimized are more apt to be bulimic than those who have not been victimized. The four forms of victimization explored were rape, sexual molestation, child abuse and partner abuse. …

Deviant Peers and Deviant Behavior
In an earlier analysis we estimated a model in which later deviance was explained by the direct positive effects of disposition to deviance and early deviance, the direct negative effect of self-rejection, and the indirect positive effects of self-rejection and early deviance.
