Exploring Teachers’ Early-Retirement Decisions
Studies on teachers suggest that high workloads, stress, and the work environment contribute to long-experience teachers leaving the profession. This paper presents a rhetorical criticism of the public political language used by the then Prime Minister John Howard and Minister Kevin Andrews, the chief spokespersons for the introduction of the Work Choices legislation.
