Elites of the late Avar period. New finds from Lake Fertő/Neusiedl reveal the location of a power centre from this period
Newly discovered stray finds from the late Avar age shed new light on the significance of the area around Lake Neusiedl/Fertő. All of the artefacts can be dated from the middle of the 8th century and some of them are high quality manufacturing.
