The Structural Model of the Relationship Between Emotion Regulation and Romantic Relationship Quality
This study investigates the structural relationship between emotion regulation, relationship obsessive-compulsive disorder (ROCD), and romantic relationship quality. Using data from 495 Iranian participants and structural equation modelling, we found that cognitive reappraisal did not directly affect relationship quality but reduced obsessive thoughts, offering a protective role. Through the application of a discovery‐oriented task analysis, this research delineated specific therapist behaviors that resulted in a successful caregiver openness event in emotionally focused family therapy (EFFT). EFFT experts were recruited via email and asked to submit family therapy recordings where they believed a caregiver openness event occurred. The surfaces of glaciers are extreme ecosystems dominated by microbial communities. Viruses are found in abundance here, with a high frequency of bacteria displaying visible virus infection. In this study, viral and bacterial production was measured in Arctic cryoconite holes to address the control that viruses play in these highly truncated ecosystems.
