    Public officials who endorse casino gambling as a means of obtaining funds for public uses must also be concerned with the integrity of casino enterprises. Most governments monitor the honesty of the games played, but few show concern about their addictive nature. Switzerland does.     Elazar’s typology of political cultures is examined. From his categorization of jurisdictions with aspects of 'moralistic' political cultures, five are selected: Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, and France.
