Supporting Teacher Reflective Practice Through Instructional Supervision
This qualitative descriptive study examined how school leaders in Arkansas and Tennessee, as part of their teacher supervision responsibilities, encourage and support teachers’ reflection as a key component of professional growth. Do principals really know what their teachers believe about evaluation? Exploring principals' reactions to teachers’ beliefs in the United States
This study explored principals’ reactions to findings from a survey regarding their teachers’ evaluation beliefs. As participants in a longitudinal study, these principals were invited to focus group meetings to discuss the teacher survey data, which were sent to them for review prior to the meetings. Modifications in food-group consumption are related to long-term body-weight changes
These results show that changes in the consumption of some specific food groups are associated with body-weight changes. Such specific eating patterns could help to improve obesity treatment and prevention.
